TIME & TUITION

TIME - Traditional Naturopathy

Full program - Time Commitment
The tuition for the Traditional Naturopathy program is planned out over a 24 month period.  However, the deadline is not limited to 24 months. Students often take longer than this to complete the online material. The topics covered in the live classes are different from the online modules.  If a student has a busy month and doesn't get many online modules one month, the student can do more another month. We encourage our students to set a regular study routine.  We do recommend doing all the modules for one Term before the next live class; however, how a student completes the online modules is up to the student.

Live Classes - Time Commitment
This 24 month program has 6 different 2 day live classes. There is approximately one live class every four months. You can attend live classes in any location. You are even invited to attend classes more than.  You will only have to pay a small class supply fee. Attendance in these live classes is included in your tuition. Yet, it is your responsibility to register for what clive lasses you will be attending and to confirm time and location.
Classes Schedule:
Friday 12:00PM - 4:00PM (Dinner Break) 5:30PM - 9:00PM
Saturday 9:00AM - 12:30PM (Lunch Break) 2:00 - 5:30PM
The combined term classes are Monday -Saturday from 9:00AM - 12:30PM (Lunch Break) 2:00 - 5:30PM each day.

Online Modules - Time Commitment
Each of the 6 Terms in the Naturopathy Program has approximately 12-16 modules. The majority of the these modules contain a video lecture from one of your professors. These lectures range for 1 hour to 1.5 hours. Some students prefer to listen to the lectures 3 or 4 times to ensure they have it down.  Others take detailed notes and then dedicate extra time to study their notes.  Yet others pause the recording as they go through it to take notes and study. Depending on your study habits, students tell us they plan 2 to 4 times the length of the recording to complete each module.

Books Expenses

Each of the 6 terms has a few required books. The majority of these books are not traditional textbook and are not significantly expensive. Many of the books can be ordered online through companies like Amazon or found used at reasonably prices. When ordering books, please pay attention to book versions or publishing dates to ensure you are referencing the same page numbers we use in class. There are two laminated flip charts that we print for use in class.  These are required at a cost of $39 each.

Additional Charts/Posters

We do offer several different charts, posters and other reference aids. These are not mandatory, but most students find they learn how to apply the concepts better with these charts. We recommend that you plan on spending a little additional money at the live classes for these useful additional supplies.

Class Supply Fees

For most students, the live classes cover a significant amount of new information and hands on techniques.  We recommend attending the live classes more than once. The first time you attend the live classes the fees associated with the live classes are included in your tuition. When you attend the live classes the additional times, you will have to pay a small class supply fee to cover the expenses of putting on the live class.

Tools Of The Trade

We strive to keep the additional fees to a minimum. However, remember that the purpose of this program is not simply to teach concepts.  It is also to equip you with the skills and abilities to make you a competent Traditional Naturopath and set you on your way to a life long career. These skills take practice and starting to perfect these skills before graduation is highly recommended. For this reason, students often begin investing in tools, test kits, equipment and other supplies to assist them as they develop these abilities. These additional expenses are completely up to you. Examples of equipment could include:  massage table, sheets, extra essential oils, supplement test kits or some tuning forks for acupoint balancing. And for others it might include infrared saunas, ionic foot spas, compliant set of tuning forks or pulsed electromagnetic field devices (PEMF) and that can cost thousands.
