Authentic Touch - Using Essential Oils Topically
Time: 8:30am - 12:30 pm on Thursday, September 5
Cost: $75 - Enroll Below
In this lecture, Dr. Hollist will introduce you to the proprietary style of essential oil application known as Authentic Touch. Many herbalists are trained in principles of aromatherapy where essential oils are used when inhaled and absorbed through the olfactory receptors. However, in this lecture, you will learn a step by step method of applying essential oils directly on the body. This will include techniques from traditional healing modalities such as mechanotherapy, gu sha, naprapathy and many others. Authentic Touch is a unique system that will allow you to deliver essential oils to every cell of the body. You will learn how to layer the oils in a very specific order to activate cellular activity, cleanse receptor sites, tap into RNA and DNA sequencing and oxygenate each cell. Many graduates from our full Traditional Naturopathy Program still utilize Authentic Touch as their primary style of practice. Whether you are brand new to essential oils or a seasoned practitioner, we are confident that the essential oil principles that you will learn in this class will empower you to change the lives of those around you.
This lecture will be taught by Dr. Matthew Hollist, who is the Executive Director of KnowYourWellness.Org and full time educator of Traditional Naturopathy. Dr. Hollist is a Nationally Board Certified Naturopath with a second diplomate in Naprapathy. With his diplomate in Naprapathy, he ran several successful practices as a manual therapist where he incorporated naturopathic principles with the manual modality and tuning fork applications for chronic illness. He has taught the same to hundreds of students all around the country for many years.
"One of the biggest tragedies of human civilization is the precedents of chemical therapy over nutrition. It is a substitution of artificial therapy over natural, of poison over food, in which we are feeding people poisons trying to correct the reactions of starvation."
